I
have been living in the U.S. for half a year, and I came here with my family.
Before this semester, I studied English in Cal State University Los Angeles.
Comparing with CSUF, CSULA has 6 classes for each level, they are listening,
speaking, writing, grammar, reading, and TOEFL. I like the classes except that
all the classes are in one level. For instance, some students are good at
listening but not good at writing; thus, their listening and writing classes
should be in different levels. However, CSULA does not separate their classes
for those students. This is one reason that why I transfer here. Another
reason is that the traffic from Rowland
HTS. to CSULA is so bad, unfortunately, the traffic here is not smooth too.
Beside learning English, I
want to get my master's degree here. Although my major is Japanese, I would
like to pursue accounting as my future major. Now I am preparing TOEFL Test and
I hope I can get a high score as soon as possible.
When I am in free time, I
like to go shopping with my family. Macy's and the Desert Hill's are two
shopping places where I would like to go. Also, my hobby is swimming and
playing bowling. Though I am not very good at these games, I still enjoy the
happiness in sports.

Yes, you are right. When I have troubles here, the first thing that comes to my mind is I can talk with my family directly. It is really lucky. While, you guys can be more independent than me without family being company with you. Thus, I think that one thing always has two sides. Don't you think so? Don't be sad about it. Good luck!
